Me:
I am a 21 year old *almost* college graduate (Spring 2009!) from Ohio State University! I was born in Columbus, Ohio, and have lived in the same house ever since.  I have 2 siblings (Raina and Quentin) Raina is on the right in the homepage picture.

Job: I work at an animal hospital close to OSU. I have seen countless amazing surgeries and many many many ear infections…

Career aspirations:  Ever since I was 3 years old I wanted to be a veterinarian. I loved animals of all sizes, shapes, and smells (yes i even loved pigs, cows, koala bears, kangaroos, you name it I loved it). I am graduating with a bachelors in zoology, and do i want to be a vet anymore? 🙁 No, i dont feel as if im led to lead the life of an animal doctor.
So the mission field is where I go 🙂 I would love to make an impact in just one persons life. I love to give, and maybe someday I’ll find acareer somewhere where I can be a leader and an example to those around me.

Church: Sharon Mennonite Church!!! Many friends from there are AMAZING!

Here are 2 of my closest friends from SMC, Krista and Steffi. (K on the far left, S on far right, Raina in the middle with me). Krista was one of the most influental people to get me to go on a missions trip. Her experience in England gave me the boost i needed to accept my calling to go to Nicaragua. (See more in my blog “How i was called to the mission field). I love my church. They have helped my family and I tremendously.
My life:
I am a fun loving girl who loves to chat with anyone about anything. I love to share my experiences with people, so that maybe they can see what my life is about and i can be a blessing to others. I also love to listen to others experiences, so i can possibly learn and grow through what they share with me.
I love the spanish language, which is one reason why i chose Nicaragua. Life is a gift and we need to get out there and live it! We need to get out of our little “American boxes” where everything is handed to us, and learn to experience life through the eyes of those who dont have much but rejoice in what they have.
Final thought:
I Corinthians 1: 7-9 (Message)
Just think, you don’t need a thing, you’ve got it all! All God’s gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale. And not only that, but God Himself is right along side to keep you steady and on track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus. God, who got you started in this spiritual ADVENTURE shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you.Never forget that!!
