We have a cook here at AIM – Gilbert Estrella. He is amazing. But our favorite nights are taco night …when he makes amazing tacos. Here is how to make a taco – as shown by Trevor Perla. Trev is on my team to Nicaragua so at least i know i will have good food in Nicaragua.
 
Ok you start off with a tortilla and ground beef on it (compliments of Gilbert). Then comes the Trevor masterpiece:
Step 1: Guacomole
As you can see Trevor putting at least one spoonful of guacomole onto the taco. This is the real stuff my friends, not the Americanized stuff. This is so good – even John (right) is excited about the process.
 
Step 2: Onions that were browned in the skillet
 
At least three must go on every taco.
 
Step 3: CHEESE
Cheese is a crucial step
 
Step 4: Cilantro
Giveit the flavor
 
Step 5: Small chopped onions
You can never put too many onions on this taco
 
Step 6: Lime
Take half a lime and squeeze the juice over the taco.
 
Step 7: ENJOY

Stuff that taco into your mouth and enjoy every bite.
 
Thank you Trevor for helping me out on illustrating taco eating. As you can see we are having some really good food here at the Gateway. Now theres a place very close by down the road called Nenas Hamburgers, that sells amazing hamburgers, and Fridays is taco day. Nena makes amazing tacos as well and we go there every Friday to feast on her tacos.
